We only stayed for one night before flying home early the next morning. The room was large and fulfiled its function for us.
We didn´t eat or drink in the hotel.
The receptionist was really friendly when we checked in and the young man when we left early too.

The room was lovely, clean and airy, but in a noisy area!
And the breakfast was awful!

The hotel is in a very good place to commute into central Edinburgh. I stayed over 1 night to take my daughter to Edinburgh Zoo the following day. The commute is only 30 minutes away. Charlestown is a beautiful picturesque village with a Harbour which over looks the stunning Queensferry bridge too.

Not a big city , nice places to eat, fantastic big country park , near to city centre, absolutely wonderful, donated by Andrew Carnegie. Easy rail or bus travel to major cities, fairly reasonable prices, but don’t use ScotRail app, get paper tickets.you can travel on the buses all day for £ 11.50 pp. by purchasing a east of Scotland day rider ticket, good value. Plenty of decent shops and supermarkets close to hotel, lovely big church and abbey ruins close by.

A gem of a city, and a secret that now the people of Edinburgh are cottoning onto. It's got a beautiful Heritage Quarter with loads of trendy bars, cafes and restaurants. Fantastic old buildings, a huge amount of history and one of the most beautiful parks in the world - Pittencrieff Park - is glorious. It really is like a mini-Edinburgh without the fuss and crowds, and such a lovely place to hang out.

We travelled to visit Knockhill Racing Circuit for a booked experience day.
Arrived on a lovely sunny day so decided to visit Pittencrief park on our way to the hotel (Adamson Hotel in crossford) where we had a great walk around the park and encountered many of the beautiful sights including the squirrels.
All in all a wonderful visit and we will definitely be back at some point in the (hopefully not too distant) future
The hotel was spotless, the staff were so friendly and helpful especially Anna who’s meet and greet at breakfast made us feel valued. The breakfast was lovely, loads to choose from, our room was big, airy & spotless with a good size en-suite also spotless. Lovely location, we got the train into Edinburgh from Dunfermline where we could park and ride which was brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
Despite being just off of a main route into Dunfermline, the hotel is quiet and you can’t hear the traffic (or Storm Arwen).
My room was newly renovated and was lovely. Very clean and fresh.
The breakfast was excellent.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They don’t do evening meals but you can order a carry out meal via Just Eat and they will provide you with a plate and cutlery if needed.
This beautiful old hotel has recently been remodeled and is in perfect shape. This is a peaceful area full of history and culture. This hotel has quiet and clean rooms at a very good price. The food was delicious and we loved the hotel restaurant. All of the staff were happy and helpful. We will stay here again for sure!
Property is perfect for an overnight or weekend stay. Really well kitted out and a lovely decked area to enjoy the sun. Everything you need for a weekend is there and the location is perfect for a wander into Dunfermline town centre. Contact with J and A is spot on and they could not be any more helpful. 100% recommended.
Room was large, airy and clean. Hotel messaged ahead of check in offering to accommodate later check ins if necessary. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were a nice touch. Staff in the morning were lovely and upbeat. Great setting - beautiful area to visit! Can’t wait to come back!
Staff were always pleasant, dinner was good and breakfast was great, price good. Location good although not easy to find - my stat nav placed me on the opposite side of the street, hotel is accessed down a dead end road.
Quiet residential street, plenty parking, close to town centre, restaurants, supermarket, very well equipped, great use of space, comfortable and quiet.
Ideal base to visit Dunfermline and the beautiful Kingdom of Fife.
Well appointed clean and comfortable hotel. Staff very helpful and efficient. Plenty of free parking. Close to Dunfermline and less than thirty minutes drive to Edinburgh airport. Will definitely use this hotel again.
Great hotel, staff was very helpful, very clean.
The rooms are big and are great quality for the price.
Food is fantastic. Service at evening meal and breakfast was great.
Highly recommend staying here.
We went for a room only budget option. This is budget hotel and we got pretty much what we expected. Somewhere to shower and lay one's head. Shower, bed and room very clean. Absolutely no complaints.
Very comfortable and clean accommodation. The host is very welcoming and helpful. Good location close to a train station and with bus link to Dunfermline city centre.
