This hotel is a local hidden gem in Snowdonia, I would fully recommend visiting when in the local area. Mike and Carrie are superb hosts, fully accommodating and their journey is amazing. The Gorge down the river is truly magical and worth the walk. Rooms are spacious and having a full suite is even better with all new facilities. looking forward to the summer and seeing the progress on the rear of the building. fully deserved rating and will be visiting again.

    Highly recommend staying here.

Highly recommend staying here. Staff were very helpful - we had to check-in to our room late and they were very accommodating in arranging this for us. The room was ideal for our needs - 4 of us. Bathrooms were shared - these were lovely, very modern. There was also a sink in our room. Bedsheets/linen provided. The place was very clean. There was a shared kitchen and lounge area, which was very comfy, with a variety of games and books. Ample, free, parking on the property. We stayed here prior to climbing Snowdon and the location was great for this - only a short drive away. Exceptionally good, especially for the price!

The location set in the most peaceful and beautiful landscape. Fabulous style hostel ideal for walkers on a stop over or for those travelling to other destinations by car where there is plenty of parking space in the hostel grounds. Clean and comfortable throughout with a shared kitchen and common room. Roughly 15-20 minutes walk from Ponty- Pant rail station..

We booked 2 rooms. 9 people bed room was good and was in clean condition. SIngle room was smaller than what we thought, but for overnight stay its good value for money and beds was comfy to sleep. All had a good night sleep and was ready for the next day adventure. We want one more day but it was all booked so only stayed for one night. If we will go again to Wales will try to book here again. Good big kitchen with all facilities. Liked it. Bathrooms all are in excellent and clean condition.

The photos really do not do this property any justice. The cottage is stunning and is located in a beautiful area. The owners were always on hand for everything and made us feel very welcome. We will be back! We were there during a storm which caused a powercut for the whole area, and we were offered extra wood for the stove, food, drinks, blankets, etc, and kept updated with what was happening.

Bed really comfy and pillows plus plenty of storage room. Breakfast cooked to order and great fresh choice Looking forward to seeing the continued renovations over the following years to come.

It was warm and completely private, exactly what we wanted for our first visit to Snowdonia (and Wales for that matter). We are from Scotland and it reminded us of the quietness of the Highlands. Beautiful place and lovely thoughtful owners. Also, parking was excellent, large space within the property which felt great after the suspenseful drive up the narrow road.

Super peaceful location, where we woke to the tuneful strains of willow warblers, blackbirds and more. A very well-equipped and spacious cottage for the two of us. Not far to many top hiking trails and we hiked some directly from the house. We recommend the excellent nearby restaurant Ty Gwyn, on the way to Betws-y-Coed.

Snowdonia, Anglesey, Llangollen, Llandudno and Portmeirion all within easy reach. Lots of restaurants in nearby Betws-Y-Coed.
