The Riverside Inn, hotel in Chelmsford

The Riverside Inn is a converted 17th-century mill situated on the River Chelmer, just 5 minutes’ walk from Chelmsford town center and Rail Station.

The bedroom was a good size with a very comfortable bed and clean bathroom with good shower. The towels were thick and soft, which was lovely. Good selection of refreshments, with plentiful teabags and biscuits! The bar is lovely. Spacious and comfortable. Lots of seating areas, with large tables and comfy chairs, or higher tables and chairs. Great outside area, although but chilly for us to enjoy. Evening meals were great. Lots of choices and reasonable prices. Good location, just a short walk into shoppy area and just along the road from a retail park too. We had a back bedroom so didn't hear traffic noise. Despite being a pub, the rooms are far enough from the bar that noise was not an issue for us at all.

Parkway House, hotel in Chelmsford

Parkway House is situated in Chelmsford, less than 1 km from Chelmsford Train Station, 8.1 km from Hylands Park, and 24 km from Freeport Braintree.

There was nothing to like, I wasn't given the password, I arrived and stayed outside for more than half an hour, he asked me for my Edi as soon as I gave him my Ed, he saw that I was Brazilian, he already said that I I couldn't receive men and he didn't even know if I was going to receive people, what was I doing in the city? He didn't give me the password. I climbed more than six stairs with my suitcases when I got there, my knee was injured. I asked him to cancel it. He didn't cancel and never gave me the password, so like losing, I lost my money,

Chelmsford has good shops and restaurants.

Chelmsford has good shops and restaurants. When we travel down by train we have easy access around places using the bus service. Train and bus stations or taxis are easy to get to. One of our favorite places to eat was the indian restaurant in Moulsham street.

Great fun for the hen do! The best taxi firm in Essex we found, after a lot of hassle from others, was ‘Your Cabbie’. Graham was our driver and was our knight in shining taxi! 01245 354040, highly recommend!

Having lived in Chelmsford since 1960 i have seen lots of changes, i have now moved away but still go back to visit family, it is a lovely town with lots of nice shops and plenty of places to eat. There is a Cathedral in the centre of town which is worth going to see.Not much more to say except that it is a good place to visit if you are in nearby Colchester and the coastal towns of Clacton Walton and Frinton.

This property is beautifully located by the River Chelmer in an upmarket development a few minutes walk just outside of Chelmsford city centre. The apartment is in a brand new development with modern furnishings, comfortable beds and sofa. Everything was exquisitely clean with adequate toilet roll etc. The host was very helpful and approachable and a pleasure to deal with. All pictures matched the apartment and was not dated or innacurate. Highly recommended!

A fabulous peaceful location for visiting Chelmsford. There was ample parking, with electric charging points, and a really good breakfast selection of both cooked and ‘continental’ foods. The staff were amongst the most professional and attentive of any hotel of a comparable standard that we have stayed in. We will definitely stay here again.

The property was fantastic value and well situated in the centre of Chelmsford. The flat itself was well-stocked and comfortable. The balcony was lovely. We left an expensive suit in the flat the both Pass the Property and the cleaners who found the suit were really helpful in getting it returned.

Spotlessly clean. Great staff. Amazing room in terms of decor and history of the building. Great facilities in the room that you would need to relax and for a business trip. Dulco coffee machine. You will be at the back of the building for all rooms, so not noisy that way. Massive rooms.
