Borlange isn't the prettiest place in Sweden with something of 1960's East Germany aboiut the architecture - Falun up the road is a better choice if you are there for pleasure. That said there are plenty of restaurants and local amenities / shops.

It was an easy 20 mins to the Romme Alpin ski resort. Close to grocery stores, restaurants and the local mall. For our own comfort we brought bedding including blankets and pillows. The property provides duvets and pillows for free and sheets/linens for the beds at a cost.NicolUnited States

Friendly and helpful sfaff. Some of the rooms might do with a little refurnishing, but everything was spotlessly clean and neat. Small gym was also available as there are not many other sport-facilities or running-routes in the area. The hotel looks quite unimpressive from the outside but is certainly a surprise when you enter 😊
