Very quiet situation, wonderful rooms (we booked the two suites), beautifully decorated and with a nice view. Personel was delightful, even though they mostly work for the restaurant, and everyone has been charming and cery, very helpful. Please do stay at the Villa Monceau if you have the chance!
Booked this last minute as a weekend getaway after our marriage. Only found out it was linked with a very fancy restaurant when we arrived.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We got the chance to eat the menu of the restaurant in our room, as the restaurant was of course fully booked.
The breakfast was delicious and plenty.
The rooms are very clean and look brand new.
Room & bed were very comfortable which with the air conditioning was just what we needed after our drive from Amsterdam ferry port & the nearby windmills on a very hot day. The hotel overlooks a small lake, is peaceful & only a short drive to the Waterloo battlefield.
Breakfast on the balcony was a lovely setting & seemed like a bonus.
Very complete breakfast buffet offering anything you desire. The spa was a very nice bonus add-on that we utilised everyday. It made the stay special. We ate one evening at the in-hotel restaurant. 'Genval les Bains' on the outdoor terrace. It was very nice with great cuisine.
The Manoir is an old mansion converted to a number of classic hotel room. it’s part of the Château du Lac, where we’ve stayed before. The room was equipped with every expected item. Classic decorations. We made use of the spa in the Château, which was 5 minutes walk.
The venue was wonderful and the surrounding countryside provided us with a peaceful week-end. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We will be recommending Martin's Genval venues to our family and friends.
Very good hotel, great location on the shore of a lake for relax. Great service on reception, they fulfilled all our requests and made our stay special. The area is great for cycling, I recommend renting from the hotel.
The location is by far the best the hotel has to offer, the restaurant is above average, the room confy and clean. The size is quite good, the bed and pillows confortable. Bar and loby are in good shape.
Conference at the hotel, went really well and all activities supported by the Hotel seemed to go very well.
Nice areas, like the lounge and Restaurant.
Nice and very supportive staff.
I really loved the vintage feel of the Hotel. You really get the feel of a vintage boutique hotel. The room was quite cozy and spacious. It is a great place to stay if you travel with a car.
We dere told when we checked in that breakfast is included, but when we left er had to pay. Breakfast is not recommended on this hotell. Complete rip off
