The breakfast buffet consisted of a great variety and the food was excellent and tastefully served by friendly staff. I loved the seed loaf plain and toasted. It was divine. The Eggs Benedict were also heavenly. The room was magnificent in size and had ample space for the very large, comfortable bed and crisp clean bedding plus a lounge suite and a desk where I could attend to my work. It also had a beverage station to make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. The dining room was festive and also the bar. The food was heavenly and I can definitely recommend the masala calamari and the lamb curry. Both big winners. We made many friends and had a great laugh every night. Alan, the barman is an amazingly patient and tolerant young man with great stories and a good sense of humour. A splendid weekend was had by all. Thank you, we will be back.

Absolutely loved this magical place. Nice and quiet getaway, falling asleep with only the sound of the river. So much attention for details by the sweetest couple who run the place. Amazing view. Nice walk at the property along. the town close by felt very safe. We used this spot to travel to Drakensberg park, so after a day of hiking this was the perfect place to relax. One of our favorite spots in South Africa!

Peaceful surroundings, lovely setting and such a beautiful, comfortable room, in a lovely homely building. The breakfast was delicious and sitting out in the sun on the long verandha while having breakfast was a bonus. Staff were so friendly and helpful, fun as well. Although we are not golfers we felt very welcome.
