Cozy feel in the Center—cobblestones, porticos, Mercato Albinelli, Enzo Ferrari Museum, incredible food, particularly Uva d’Oro restaurant (went to dinner there twice as it was so enjoyable) and Sant’Agostino three times for late afternoon aperitivi.

This was a really lovely city with an extensive pedestrian town centre. The Duomo is a highlight, the covered market is charming (it re-opens in the evening with a variety of what seem like pop-up restaurants) and the very grand town hall was worth a visit. You are spoilt for choice for restaurants - we liked Stallo Pomodoro and Da Danilo for dinner- both had outside terraces, and for lunch, Aldina, a very traditional no frills trattoria on the first floor near the market. Blums, a prize-winning gelateria, served the best ice cream I had on this trip.

Really a treat, Modena deserves to be better known.
Really a treat, Modena deserves to be better known. A beautiful and walkable city, with magnificent food, good and variegated shops, and did I mention the magnificent food? The Galleria Estense is an excellent museum (with all information in Italian and English). Opening hours for churches are a bit intransparent (and not always kept), but the city is definitely worth a trip!

A beautiful town not overrun by tourists or tourism, with good restaurants, lovely sites, and extremely well kept buildings. It is easily walkable (no tourist cars in the center). If there was something to avoid, I could not find it.
Excellent location to explore Modena and the apartment was very comfortable. Very well maintained and had everything we needed including driving and parking permits. The host provided a permit that allowed us to drive in the limited traffic zone which was very much needed. It enabled us to drop off our luggage and then park our car with the parking permit provided. Excellent attention to everything that made our arrival and departure simple and hassle free.
Very convenient for a family traveling with a dog. A lot of outdoor space and room was on ground floor opening on the garden.
Nice owners.
The location is outside of Modena center, about 15 minutes drive, which was fine for us as we were looking for a place with outdoor space. Just to flag that you need a car to stay there and travel around easily, there is plenty of outdoor parking available in the property.
Communication was excellent and Valeri was a joy to work with. Checking in was a breeze with clear instructions. The room was immaculate and very well-appointed. Comfortable beds, a spacious, clean bathroom, ample towels and a roomy shower. The location is on a quiet street with easy access to the center of town. We walked everywhere. If we are fortunate to visit Modena again we will stay here again.
This was our third visit to this beautiful Hotel, it will always have a special place in our hearts as I proposed to my now wife in the beautiful gardens of the Hotel. Very friendly Team and fantastic breakfast. Great position to walk around in the city and good parking as well.
Nice place to stay in Modena. Location is perfect, 5min walk to the city center. Breakfast was really good. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking private at the hotel or in the surroundings when it's full for free but easy to park. Good choice for enjoying Modena
We had what we needed for a weekend in the area. The Ferrari Maranello and Modena museums, city center and Lamborghini museum are not that far from the hotel. The parking lot is a plus. The receptionists and waitress are kind. The check out is until 12:00.
We choose this B&B because the close distance to both Modena as Maranello as we were visiting the Ferrari and Lamborghini museums.
The owner was very nice and helpfull.
Very clean room.
Comfiest bed ever in a B&B or hotel.
The room was spotless! And it was the best shower I had in Italy. The size was incredible! The check-in was very easy as was the access the the property. Everything felt very secure. Loved the decor of the room.
The hotel is very new and modern. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. WiFi is on international standards. Large breakfast buffet with good choice of all kind of food.
Definitely the best place in Modena we met.
Perfect location and very polite, helpful and friendly staff. We arrived by car and while the hotel’s private parking was full, we were immediately provided an authorization to park at the street nearby.
The location was excellent. In the center in a quiet street. We only stayed for one night. Massimo the owner was very helpful, even before arriving in Modena, also with arranging parking in the center.
Truly feeling of being in Italy , the B&B is well located with parking close to the centro, the staff very helpful, great breakfast and accommodations were very good and clean
