Waw! What a lovely experience!
Not a big fan of B&Bs due to the varying hit and miss aspect of what you are going to get.
But Cnapan is there with the best, all fears allayed by a wonderful welcome, hospitable hosts with a lovely breakfast to wake up to.
The quality of the rooms and house overall exceptional !
We will be back, see you soon. Thank you.

Newport is a lovely small village with beautiful walks and a wonderful beach just 3 miles away. There are several very nice places to eat with several more just a few miles away.
It's also an excellent base for trips to Tenby, St David's and Pembroke.

Our three night stay with my parents in law at Duffryn was exceptional. The farm and the self contained accommodation of 2 double bedrooms living area and 2 bathrooms plus a private patio was stunning as were the views of the Pembrokeshire coast. Our lovely host Sally went above and beyond welcoming us with tea and a homemade lemon cake. The “welsh continental” breakfast served in her beautiful kitchen was delicious- local ham, cheese, bread, fruit and cereal and even homemade marmalade. It was a very special weekend. Thank you Sally!

Newport beach and town is 5/10 minutes from the property. Parog is quite close, 2 minutes by car or 15 minute walk and highly recommended, very pretty with good free car parking. Lovely walks along the coast and also estuary. Nice little café in Parog and quite reasonable prices. Well worth a visit and a favourite of ours. Fishguard is about 15 mins by car from Parog. Lovely part of the coast to explore. Llys Meddyg is a nice restaurant - excellent Sunday Lunch (best ever)

Beaches are fabulous.. In Newport itself lots of shops etc.. If you are further out is a bus service to get you to places though it's then a good walk down to the beaches abd obviously a good uphill walk back up.. There are carparks though the smaller ones get full close to the beaches when it's decent weather..

A lovely house. Very nicely decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. Good location just 3 miles outside Fishguard. Extremely well equipped. A shame we were only there for 3 nights. Strongly recommend The Catch for fish and chips which is in Dinas Cross - best eaten on the local beach and The Canteen in Newport for Pizza. For a full house it would be extremely good value but there were just two of us - a lot of space for 2!
We absolutely loved Ecton House, we are so glad we were able to stay an extra day. The room was of excellent standard, clean and spacious with amazing views out to sea. Great hosts, delicious fresh breakfasts served in your room. A short walk into the town and a shorter walk to get to the Wales Coastal Path, with glorious hikes in all directions.
Easy parking at the side of the hotel, reserved for guests. A short walk to a gorgeous bays with magnificent views. Tastefully decorated room and modern bathroom. Very nice and helpful staff and you must book dinner in the restaurant there. A lovely room and very good food with original choices for the more adventurous; great staff!
Quiet and peaceful, great location and only a short walk to Newport Beach. Spacious family room. Able to park the car outside the room. Fabulous evening views (weather permitting) Sitting outside as the Sun Sets across the sea having a local Ale. Links golf course. Very pleasant conversation with the owner.
The location was great. Newport is a quaint village near the sea. The property is kept to a high standard and looks to be newly renovated. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. We would stay there again!
The hugs from the hostess, the excellent scrambled eggs and care and attention to every little detail. We were in Newport to celebrate our daughter's wedding and Blas at Fronlas helped to make it an even more special occasion. We felt we came as guests but left as friends.
We liked the friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Bedroom very clean and comfortable. Restaurant felt very safe with screens, social distancing and all staff wearing masks. Lovely food. Would certainly stay again as good position to explore West Wales.
We had a brilliant stay at Grove Park, friendly and kind host with a wonderful breakfast hamper made up each morning. The room was so lovely and very comfortable. We will be returning to Newport and this beautiful place!
A very friendly and relaxed welcome which set the tone for our stay. Comfortable accommodation in the ideal location for a visit to Newport. An excellent vegan breakfast, one of the best I have had.
A lovely hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly, room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast was superb. Would definitely stay there again and recommend the Golden Lion to others.
Treherne Arms feels like home with some extra luxury! The people are welcoming and so accommodating. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious and the bathrooms superb!
Spotless, excellent decor, location perfect for Newport and the wider pembrokeshire region. Right on the coastal path. Host was excellent, good communication. Breaky was amazing
The bar and restaurant facilities were excellent, both in respect of the staff and quality of the food served. Parking was convenient, and easy access to the hotel.
Charming hotel with a great pub. Very good breakfast. Managers made every effort to accommodate our requests. Room was very spacious and clean. Highly recommended.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciated knowing about the path to Newport so that I could avoid the road. Breakfast was fabulous.
