The resort was wonderful. We had a room with a spectacular view of the lake. We enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets. The staff were very accommodating. We had a excellent meal in the restaurant on our last night at the resort.

The owners were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They were on the property doing yard work: very available. The room looked freshly renovated, very clean, although they apparently hadn't done any renovations; clearly they look after their property very well! The property was quiet. Bed was comfortable. Hot water worked great. Nothing was missing. Lighting was good. I was grateful for the portable hair dryer.

I love the people, and everything you need is close to hand.
I love the people, and everything you need is close to hand. Also, being a short distance from other towns, Osoyoos is a perfect base for exploring. Beautifully kept town, lots of flowers and clean. Many interesting stores, a great coffee shop, and a fun little bakery.

The hotel offered everything you needed for your stay. If you forgot shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. It was provided in large bottles! Amazing! The beach right outside was fantastic & beautiful! Just what the doctor ordered for a special visit. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I just love the people and the place in every way.
I just love the people and the place in every way. I find the locals very friendly. There isn't a big nightlife here and that's good for me - makes the place quiet at night. But there are lots of good places to eat, hiking and walking trails within an hour in every direction, tons of wineries to visit. I haven't even gone inside the museum and art gallery yet. I love the little walkway with its public washrooms, and even the dive-bombing starlings. Watching the sunrise, reading, thinking, just relaxing.

Wonderful place to visit. Great walks and hikes.
Wonderful place to visit. Great walks and hikes. The town is fun to walk around. Be sure to visit the Home Hardware, a very eclectic store. Lots of pubs and wineries close by. We visited Phantom Creek and Burrowing Owl, a wonderful experience. We were there a little early for beach weather. We will return later in the year.
The Spanish Fiesta is much like most of the resorts in Osoyoos, a little older and motel style. However it is well maintained and everything is clean, from the beach front to the rooms themselves. It also has one of the best beach areas and it isn't overcrowded, unlike some of the larger hotel beaches. The rooms themselves aren't "fancy" but the environment is awesome.
It is a short walk or drive to nearly everything in Osoyoos. It's about 15 minutes from the wineries in Oliver.
Very nice hotel with it's own beach.! Unfortunately we only stayed one night and arrived late... but the communication from the hotel was very good.! Very clean suite, comfortable beds, a sitting area and full kitchen with big table. A very good deal for the price....and nice surroundings included.
Beach, playground, outside sitting areas and a great location.
No splashy luxury, but an overlooked gem of super value and service.
Definitely recommended.!
This is the difference between staying at a hotel, and staying at a resort! We were done our exploring by 2 pm, and went back to the resort for a swim, hang out on our deck, and admire the beautiful grounds with flowering trees (locust? ) scenting the warm air, ahhh! Now, thats a vacation!
The staff were friendly and helpful. Maintenance, grounds, bartenders, waitresses ... everybody seemed to be enjoying their jobs.
The hotel itself is right on a private beach for easy, close access. Shops, restaurants and amusement park are within walking distance. Room and property well kept and clean. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff were amazing. Starbucks coffee in the room and full sized shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc Beach is sandy and water is gorgeous. Friendly ducks and people.
Overall positive experience. Check-in was quick and simple. Staff were courteous and polite. Room was clean and presentable. Room and hotel overall was nice and quiet. Complimentary breakfast provided a wide selection, and the seating area was large and bright. Pool and hot tub were good. As mentioned, an overall positive experience. I would stay here again when passing through Osoyoos.
Location - good, next to petrol stations, eateries, downhill walk to town and therefore easy access to the lake which is fabulous together with the views and mountain backdrop, and obviously the beach. When the season fully opens on 15th May, the beach will be very popular, and the hotel booked fully!!
Easy access to roads leading out of Osoyoos.
A quiet, tidy hotel right in the heart of town, just steps to the beach, shops and restaurants. The room was bigger than I expected and up to my wife's standards for cleanliness. The shaded "courtyard" was a welcome surprise as the temperature was well over 30 degrees. I would definitely stay again on my next trip through Osoyoos.
Everything! The Sahara is always our favourite place to stay in Osoyoos! The staff are extremely friendly and it’s great value for money. We’re always so impressed by the room and the locations the best. A short walk to town and an even shorter one to Rattlesnake Canyon! As always, thank you for your hospitality.
nice hotel but they were not prepared for my stay at the front desk, so it took longer to sign in as the fellow didn’t know what to do
room good but no handle on the fridge and online said jacuzzi spa tub, but it was just a standard tub, disappointing as we booked for the tub
but overall good place, good rates
Walnut Beach Resort is a lovely facility. Very clean, well appointed spacious rooms. Everything you could want. Loved the luxurious robes were a nice touch. Staff was friendly.y and efficient as well. Wish we had planned a longer stay so I guess we will just come back.
The room I was given, 102 was either redone recently or has been very well kept up. At the price versus other hotels in the area, in October at least, as long as the room is representative of the rest, this will be my choice in Osoyoos.
The whole property was very well maintained and there was lots of staff busy looking after all the different areas of the hotel. Unfortunately, the pool was closed due to annual maintenance, but we were upgraded to a lake view room.
spacious villas with terrific mountain / lake views and a 2 mn drive in to Osoyoos. situated In. working vineyard . free use if BBQ facilities including all plates, utensils , glassware.
Stayed again at this beautiful property, amazing view! Easy check in…. Best property to stay in Osoyoos! Hot tub inside the room it’s something else! ❤️
