Catània és una gran ciutat, amb un centre molt bonic i interessant. La plaça de la catedral és Patrimoni de la Humanitat, i és una meravella. Al costat hi ha la Pescheria, un mercat diari de tota mena de productes alimentaris sicilians, d'una frescor i qualitat excel·lent. La via Etnea, que arriba fins a la falda del volcà, concentra el comerç d'alçada europea. Vàrem poder aparcar el cotxe o al costat de l'apartament o davant de la porta. Hi havia lloc suficient. El Giuseppe ens va deixar dolços cada matí, a les 8h, a la porta de casa per esmorzar. A la nevera teníem sucs. I teníem cafetera amb càpsules de cafè a l'apartament. Rentadora amb sabó per rentar la roba. L'apartament està molt net, és molt gran i és molt còmode per una família.
