Actually, there is nothing that we didn't like about this hotel. Everything was just perfect. We very much enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

This hotel is great. It is skillfully managed. All facilities are well maintained. The breakfast has many choices, including some local treats. People are enormously friendly and helpful. They give you a great introduction while you check in, and they provide tea (or coffee) at check in and any time you return to the hotel. The bottled water is also always available, both in the room and on request. The location of the hotel is fantastic. This is exactly where you want to be while in Istanbul.

Everything was superb! Fantastic hospitality, clean modern rooms, location (steps away from blue mosque yet no noise disturbance). We booked taxi (airport transfer), a few activities through the hotel and everything was organized perfectly. The Turkish tea or coffee any time of the day at the hotel lobby prepared for you at your request was so special. So many little gestures that made our stay amazing. We will definitely stay at Four G Hotel again when visiting Istanbul. Thank you!

Only suggestions to improve... blackout curtains and more reliable Wi-Fi. The signal is good but I had to keep logging in. Otherwise, perfect.

Very friendly team - we felt very well looked after and will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you to Kadir and the team. Clean, smart, excellent location in the beautiful old city. Lovely breakfast with good variety and different every day... happy smiley lady welcoming you to breakfast. Nice balcony with sea view, and my colleague had a nice big balcony with city view. Also, good taxi service from/to airport - definitely recommend this particularly with new airport 1 hour journey from the hotel.

Wished we could have watched English news

Everything was perfect, the staff & Kadir (concierge) have been very helpful with recommendations & r always ready to help with whatever u need. We have arranged for 2 way airport transfer, bfast is available & location is near various dining options, short walk to Hagia Sophia & the Blue Mosque. Our room was upgraded to one with a balcony, which was greatly appreciated. Bottles of water r provided daily & gd size fridge for drinks

Don't expect them to tell you about hidden gem restaurants etc. - they just bring out brochures of tourist traps. The Chinese restaurant 4 doors down is not bad if you're sick of Turkish food.

The location is great. Just walk 100 m down the hill and you're at Sultanahmet Square aka Hippodrome. Take time before breakfast (8.30-10.30) to stroll the Square and get great views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia before the tourist hordes descend. Do the same at night when they are lit up. We took advantage of a car to/from airport for 90EUR return just to avoid hassle. Staff were super helpful.

It was all great, and my wife and I had a great time. If we were searching for a single thing to improve then we might say that the hot breakfast options in the morning were a bit narrow, and we might have preferred a bit more selection. But in truth that's such a minor thing, we wouldn't want to detract from what was a genuinely outstanding stay. We would strongly recommend to anyone planning to visit Istanbul as a tourist.

There are a number of things that my wife and I really appreciated: - It is rare to find staff so incredibly helpful and accommodating. And I really mean it - when we arrived, unsolicited, the guy at reception sat us down at the sofas in the reception area and annotated up a map for us of interesting places to go and things to see. It was so incredibly thoughtful, and we used that as a plan for our following day of sightseeing. It was great. - There really seemed to be nothing the staff weren't prepared to do to help. On our last night we had a booking at a lovely restaurant on the hotel's recommendation (if they recommend Istanbul Fine Dining then I suggest you go for it). We knew it was close to the hotel but when we asked for directions they were happy to walk with us there, and even go up the lift to the rooftop with us to make sure everything was to our liking. - Apart from this, I would say the hotel is very well-kept and clean, and our room (101) seemed spacious enough and pretty comfortable. - We really enjoyed the housekeeping. On one day we popped down for breakfast and found our room had been tended to (well!) in that short time. We returned to freshly-made beds and more bottled water etc. - The location is ideal for a tourist. You are within walking distance of so much interesting stuff. - The value for money here is really amazing. I didn't expect somewhere so great for what we paid.

I liked everything at the Four G Hotel.

The Four G Hotel is an excellent location near the Blue Mosque. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Kadir upgraded my room and gave me a free breakfast each morning. He booked tours for me and airport transport. Aykut was of great assistance also. He came to my aid when I suffered a knee injury. ( Not serious ) I was offered tea which is delicious every time I entered the hotel. Kadir and Aykut treated me like family. Great ambassadors for the hotel and the Turkish people. Four G is a great hotel, with great staff in a great historic and welcoming city. It was the best hotel stay I ever had. Thanks to Kadir, Aykut and all the staff at the Four G Hotel. What lovely and good people. I recommend the Four G Hotel for anyone wanting an excellent experience. Istanbul is a great city steeped in history. Lots to do. I had a brilliant five days made brilliant by Kadir, Aykut and everyone at the Four G Hotel.

The location was fabulous, the staff were super helpful and the local "corner store" across the road had everything we needed (including ice) and super helpful staff. The beds were very comfortable, the room clean and my friends and I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Istanbul.

As we had early starts each day, breakfast wasn’t officially open till 8:30am. But hotel management organised for us to eat before we went out for the day.

A fabulous location in Sultanamet. 5 minute walk to the Blue Mosque. The hotel has modern facilities is very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

The only thing they could improve is that the bathroom needs somewhere to put your toiletries. But the room is quite spacious and has a lot of space to put your things. Having to go out to do so is just a little inconvenient. It may be cultural because I noticed that all the hotels we stayed in Turkiye have the same issue.

The staff were really great in making us have the best of our stay! Especially Kadir and Serkan. They gave recommendations on where to go for sightseeing and food. The Turkish breakfast included in our accommodations was also the best we had during our stay in Turkiye. The selection was extensive and delicious. The location was central. The room was exactly what was in the pictures. It had a balcony overlooking the street. (It was not super quiet, but we were given a choice, and we picked the one overlooking the street for the view.) We absolutely loved it!

They start room service very early - even at 7 am, so it's quite noisy. Cleaning rooms also starts early - once we were woken up by room service (before 9 am) - its the first hotel we experienced such thing.

The location is absolutely excellent for first time visiting - you can reach most of sights by foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are delicious. Rooms are very nicely decorated (plus we had room on the 3rd floor with amazing view on the sea!)

The location and the staff. The location was great, it was walking distance to many attractions and opposite the hotel was a little bakery that sold amazing turkish bread. A little further up the street was a store that had sim cards/wine. The staff gave us an upgrade and there were 5 of us travelling, they were helpful and extremely friendly.
