Breakfast starts late at 8.30. We had to have a continental breakfast made up for I room so we could leave at 8.15.

The soundproofing wasn't brilliant - you could hear people moving around in the adjacent room. But it wasn't enough to detract from the comfort of the room!

The hotel ad a lot of character,was in a quiet location, and lovely countryside. the staff were cheerful,friendly,and very helpful. good food at reasonable prices too.

Leaving, wish I'd booked a longer stay, there's so many lovely walks we didn't have enough time, make sure you walk around the village it's very interesting

Room was really nice & ready when we arrived, tea & coffee with biscuits in the room and fresh milk was already in the fridges which is always a lovely bonus, bar was well stocked with a good selection of hand pulled beer's, evening meals were nice & hot and although the pub was busy the service was really good 👍 breakfast was nice with a good selection, I didn't get the names of any of the staff but all were helpful & very friendly

A lovely pub in a quiet village location close to M6 with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were exceptional, from evening to breakfast (which was delicious). The room was clean & very comfortable, with lots of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, water & orange juice. Would definitely return.

Er, struggling to think! No, nothing!

The staff could not be more welcoming and made it such a relaxing stay. Dinner was delicious and great value for money. Plus the selection of refreshments on offer in the room, plus fresh milk, went beyond expectations.

The rooms are well appointed. The fans from the kitchen are pretty noisy, though are switched off later in the evening. There was one small fan tumbling away all night -- not too bad, but something to be aware of. The TV was dreadful and kept losing signal, though it generally recovered. It seemed to trigger out when there was a lot of one colour, again indicating a poor signal. The green pitches on Match of the Day sent the telly into a real spin. I reported this so hopefully it is fixed.

I know the pub / hotel. I have stayed there previously and everything was as I remembered. Good. Simple but excellent breakfast using quality ingredients.

Excellent. Room & bathroom/ shower immaculate & luxurious. A great fridge with fresh milk, fresh orange & sparkling water supplied along with amazing selection of teas/ coffee & even a teapot + GF biscuit. Quiet at back of pub overlooking stream Very comfortable. We will return.

Only a minor niggle. Although a portable mirror is available in the bathroom which can be moved into the bedroom for drying hair the light in the corner of the room where the plug socket is is poorly lit making make up application impossible and needing to do this in the bathroom.

Really spacious comfortable room which was beautifully furnished. Tea and coffee making facilities exceptional. Very clean. Easy check in / out process. Great value. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and menu was varied and good generally tasty
