The hotel is beautiful!!! It use to be a school and they have kept the names of the rooms (senior rooms, teachers rooms etc). The hotel is Very spacious, the restaurant room is fantastic! Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. All staff were very professional and kind. We will stay again if we can! The area is good, 2 mn from the Thames with the fantastic view of Tower bridge and lots of pubs/restaurant. London bridge station is barely a 10mn walk away

Generally dislike ground floor rooms, which was an upgrade from the entry room. The rooms actually still relatively small, but probably classified as being larger than average for London.

I travel to London a lot for work and to see family. This location made me a tourist for a day, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s an area that I seldom visit and it’s a really interesting area to walk in and around the Thames Paths on both sides of the river. I arrived off an international flight at 8am, and whilst I couldn’t checkin until 3pm I was offered a chance to freshen up in the spa area, which definitely woke me up to go out and explore. Borough Market and plenty of good eateries in the vicinity. Exceptional value for money.

The food and drink prices were rather expensive but this is to be expected for this class of hotel in London.

It’s ambiance- a converted old grammar school in Indian style. Unusually, for London the bedrooms were capacious and comfortable, well stocked with tea and coffee and free mini bar.Although situated in Bermondsey , close to Tower Bridge, it was sufficiently close to visiting central London attractions without too much bother.

The hotel was stunning, and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were made so welcome, and looked after. Our room was gorgeous and quiet you’d quite forget you were in the centre of London. It was my partners birthday, and we returned the our room to find a lovely chocolate cake waiting for us. The cocktails were exceptional and the food in the restaurant delicious…can’t wait to go back!

This was a stunningly beautiful and opulent hotel with the most attentive service I have ever experienced just a stones throw from the Shard and Tower bridge. The decor and fittings are to the highest standards. Even the loo was the best I have ever experienced with heated seat and a whole bunch of other wonderful features.

The first room they gave me was an accessible room therefore not a normal shower and everything at a very low height and that for a tall person. But the greatest issue was that the room was on the ground floor and I could not open the window otherwise people from the street could climb in. The first response from staff and security was that I should keep everything closed because they had a recent incident couple of weeks ago with also a woman alone staying in there. Not sure why hotel and/or security did not take care of that and made sure it could not happen again. After some discussion (sleeping with windows closed not an option for me), staff looked for another solution and gladly they still had another room for me on the first floor. From staff at checkin in a Small Luxury Hotel I would expect to look at the guest (tall person and woman alone) and already anticipate that the room first assigned would not be suitable.

The location and building are very nice and within walking distance from London Bridge station for easy traveling with underground or train. The room I ended up staying in was as you would expect from a Small Luxury hotel, nice room, good bed and bathroom, very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I would have preferred an earlier check in but I can understand this is not always possible.

The room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not manage to have dinner at their Indian restaurant as we were not that hungry but the aesthetics of the restaurant were very inviting. Definitely would like to have dinner there the next time we come.
