You’d need a key card to access from the reception but you can just enter freely from the back entrance, which we found a bit odd. But the place seems safe with cctv around.

The information on the accomodation was slightly misleading, as it said there were elevators to every floor. However, the apartments have stairs to access them. One of our party uses a wheelchair, but is able to walk short distances, so we managed the stairs between us. However it was not ideal and had he been unable to walk at all, it would have been impossible to access the apartment.

The elevator is out of order for like three days. I'm luck to stay on the first floor but with luggage it is not the best. Other than that everything's good.

The location is perfect. There are quite a lot people during the festival time but around the school is it quite tranquil. Yet almost everything can be reached by foot.

Sometimes, the access cards didn't work at the doors and I had to punch them like 4-5 times to get them to work.

The entire stay alongwith checking in and out was extremely smooth.

It was much smaller than anticipated. There are no couches inside the actual room you get. Those are community spaces. The bed was uncomfortable.

It rained once during our stay, but Unite couldn't do anything about that. I will book with them again.

Location= exceptionally good, literally through an archway to the Royal Mile and near a Tesco store; Room clean, spacious very good, Bed - I slept very well; Staff were very helpful on arrival and on departure, allowed us to store our bags after checkout,answered questions whenever I needed to ask at the desk, and helped us to understand how the door passes worked

The bed was very small if you're going to have two people sleep in it. I stayed alone in the room and the bed was fine for me alone but I wouldn't want to share the bed, not even with a spouse. Also it's inconvenient that the bus stops on Holyrood Road are closed for the summer and you need to walk a bit if you want to use the buses.

The room was a good size. The kitchenette was very nice. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was very good if The Royal Mile and the Old Town are the main attractions you want to visit in Edinborough.

The size of the room for this price was a little bit too expensive.

The bed supposed to be a double bed but it was very small. And the bathroom and shower were tiny.

Just needed a cheap'ish' place to stay for the Fringe. This place ticked the boxes - a place to sleep. Close to the main fringe locations and the Royal Mile.

Clean, right in the heart of the city on the Royal Mile. Small but comfy room with a modern bathroom and comfy bed.

The biggest issue I had was with the service. We were there for 9 nights and asked for towels and sheets to be replaced. We had to ask about five times! I never like the 'small double' beds of student accommodation, but that was well advertised. The bathroom was very small and the floor would always get wet.

Excellent location. Great coffee shop around the corner. The room I was only 5 metres from the Royal Mile.

Wall mounted reading lamps above bed headboard would be much appreciated although the overhead room lamps did help. Mattress appears to have lost some of its support and may benefit guests if it's turned around or replaced. One towel showing dirty marks and the other having about 6 long, dark hairs, up to 30cm long on it, clearly arriving on the towel post washing and drying.

Location, with Tesco Express just a few metres away, clean both in the room and all corridors and lift, modern building displaying a clean and modern appearance, very helpful staff, fully equiped kitchen provided. Very quiet location.
