Stairs, not many but not zero, to get into the hotel. Put in a proper ramp for those with heavy cases

Good bkfst sélection. I had some problems with the room initially and when I reported them, someone came immediately and fixed them. Impressive.

I did not like the smell in the lobby when you entered hotel, too heavy "perfume" Breakfast was fine, but in everything in so small dishes, that they were often empty - also would have preferred more vegetables

Wi-Fi inside the room was bad so I had to go to the hallway for better Wi-Fi signal. Also I'm confused by the lack of shower door, resulting in a lot of water on the bathroom floor.

The hotel needs better management and attention to the guests . We stayed two nights . They did not come to clean the room. Our sink was blocked. We informed them upon check in but nobody showed up until we were checking out .

Location is exceptional. View of some rooms looking to the castle .( unfortunately ours was not among them ) It has undergone a bit of refurbishment.

The view from our room was like looking out over a gulag. Very noisy machinery going all night which made it impossible to open a window to cool down the very warm room. We asked for a front facing room and were told there were none available. We informed the staff that we were disappointed with the room. The food was adequate and plentiful without being remarkable.

The staff were incredible. They were all going out of their way to be friendly, helpful and very conscience. The hotel is very clean. The staff were constantly polishing and cleaning. Location is superb and the view from the restaurant is stunning.

The rooms are a bit stuffy and the cost is high. (Compared to the area, though, it's on par or a bit lower than most.)

The location and the views from the hotel are amazing! It is SO EASY to get to transportation and the major tourist areas. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options.

Room was OK but very tired and tiny. The closet was no more than 15 inches wide and the safe was so small and almost hidden. I could not fit in a small laptop.

Our Room was comfortable and overlooked Prince's Street, and it was just possible to glimpse the Castle from our window. We were joined by two friends for Dinner, and received an unexpected, but most welcome, Residents' discount off the total Dinner price which pleased us greatly, as they were charging 'Central location' prices.

Rooms are a little run down and need updating

Staff let me check in very early which I really appreciated. The front of house staff were very helpful with my bags etc. The location is great and view out the window was amazing

Localisation was perfect Staff was helpful and nice Beds were comfortable We were afraid at first because of the comments but our stay was quite pleasant. We were told we had a just refurbished room so maybe that's why but anyway it was nice

Instead of ramp, there are 4-5 stairs to carry luggage from the outside of the hotel to elevators for reaching reception/lobby which is at the 1st floor.

The hotel offered lot of varieties in the breakfast. Everything as fresh & tasty. The staff was very friendly & easy to approach. Location is awesome. Everything is within a long-walking distance. There are short cuts to reach all famous places like the Castle, the open buses etc. Room is little smaller as compared to usual hotels but still OK.

No access directly to hotel apartments from licensed taxis. If arriving/leaving by private/private hire car can only be dropped off around the corner and have to walk with luggage.

Most of the times when I visit UK I use Premier Inn hotels for my accommodation. This time when I was in Edinburgh I stayed here. Room was little smaller than I expected. But it was alright as I used only for one night. Location was great. Easy access to transportation.

the balcony is for the whole floor, not just for the room. The bathroom was kinda old (therefor also too expensive) but apparently it will be renovated :)
