Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomReception area was being renovated and “piped music” was too loud to hear receptionist. Television in room didn’t work, someone came to fix. However, the tv kept turning off every few minutes, or lost signal. Although we didn’t use much it was frustrating when we did use.
Location, breakfast was good, room was comfortable and clean.

As we had booked a show at the Playhouse, the location of the hotel was excellent, initial room overlooked waste bins, although we were offered suitable alternative room. Breakfast was very good with large selection of food attended by very courteous staff.

Very nice welcoming personnel. Excellent breakfast in a nice atmosphere. Perfectly located for us nearby Waverley station and the tram to the airport.

United KingdomOur room was on the side of the hotel where there’s a lane, We were woken very early in the morning by a bin wagon and then bottle collection quickly followed by a gas bottle delivery. There was also a skip being filled with masonry from the playhouse.
Excellent location to attend the Playhouse. Reana on reception was excellent made a great suggestion for a food reservation which we would never have found by ourselves!

Breakfeast was excellent and the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel offers 45% discount on parking which is 200yds away under the Omi centre

United KingdomBusy breakfast due to renovation of restaurant. Staff struggling to keep up with demand. Small details of room unclean and bathroom with glass wall is not nice for a romantic get away. Mattress protector was uncomfortable, and bed linen didn't quite fit the mattress, so kept coming off.
Quiet room, didn't even notice you were in the middle of a city centre. Staff at check in were friendly and knowledgeable.
