Breakfast menu was extensive with choices from fresh fruit, breads, eggs, cold cuts, and cooked oats. My host, Saskia, cooked everything fresh! I ate in the main dining room in relative peace with view of the garden. Parks, historical buildings & stores were just outside the location. Room had extra features such as candles, stocked bar fridge, free hot chocolate, tea, coffee, lavender soaps, and shampoo.

The shower switch was broken and I had to contact host to figure out how to get it to work. Otherwise, I had no problems with the room.

The owners were very responsive to our queries, friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, walking distance to most attractions. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable Such an experience for us staying on a houseboat, sitting atop the boat, sipping wine and watching the boats go by. We highly recommend Anna houseboat for a truely unique stay in Amsterdam

The location was good. The Bar Staff were pleasant and it was nice to receive some nuts with the drinks.

Extremely poor housekeeping. In the 15 nights that I stayed, a damp cloth was never put over the coffee tables or the bathroom for any cleaning. The ring from a glass on the table could still be observed a fortnight later, and the vanity and bathtub were never cleaned. I had to phone in the middle of the night on a couple of occasions just to get some toilet paper, and tissues were also lacking. Towels on more than one occasion were removed for laundry but not replaced and I had to chase after them too!

Pillows are from the cheapest possible ever type and more or less impossible to sleep ! If you really want to sleep in this hotel you should bring pillow for your self then you might have chance of sleeping only if the noise of others rooms and Rezeption allow you.
