The location is good but not in the city centre nor within walking distance - unless you are a hiker. The breakfast was very good: diverse choice of bread types, classic yoghurts, good range of cheeses, selection of cooked meats, breakfast teas and an automatic 24 hour coffee, hot water, etc dispenser. I think that there is a bar - not sure about evening meals - you will need to check. Polite and helpful reception staff.

We requested a garden view but not provided. Cleaning service walked into the bedroom and woke up one of the guests in spite of hanging a "do not disturb" notice on the outside door handle. This type of hotel does not provide coffee or tea making services in the room: OK, but we think that the hotel could hold a stock of small kettles, small service trays etc, available to those guests who specifically ask. We understand providing all rooms would be a significant cost, but having some available would be a good additional quality of service option.

We didn't like anything about this trash spot! This is the worst hotel I have ever seen it's like a hotel from hell. Do not pay for a balcony, if you do you'll have constant whistling noises loud enough to drive you mad within 10 mins of staying in the room due to the door not being properly secure. Electrical sockets are old extension cords that have no surge protection and are hanging without proper mounting. Toilets have no back compartments with a jet engine sound flush, tiles are falling off the walls mold and damp all over the bathroom, pipes have masking tape painted to conceal what I hope is not cracks. The front door to the room had literal splits in the door on both sides where the door had been pried open previously. Hygiene was shocking and facilities were beyond repair. We paid for an early euro tunnel back with a fine of 50 euros just so we didn't have to stay in this dive of a hotel. The hotel has not exchanged any willingness to even apologise for this inconvenience, booking.com has offered a 12€ peace offering which is a kick in the face. Safety 0 star Hygiene 0 star Facilities 0 star Overall experience 0 star Hotel le Transat Bleu is one of a kind, truly the worst of the worst.
