Basic accommodation with nice hosts (we did not get to meet with Fred, unfortunately) and good services: nice restaurants and city tour recommendations, they booked us the minivan to Theth and kept our car safe while we were in the Albanian Alps (3eur/night).

Beautiful place 5 min walk from town but feels like a little oasis. Lovely garden, nice big rooms with strong air condition, 2 shared bathrooms and fridge/freezer where you can store your things. Fred was really welcoming, gave recommendations for the city and made us coffee in the morning. Would stay again!

No private bathrooms but since there were two to share we actually could always go when we wanted!

Fred is a very good host, very accommodating and keen to share his knowledge on the city (what to do, where to eat), as well as the wider Northern Albania region. The guest house is clean and comfortable, and very well located!

Fred and his family run a great guesthouse. You will be met with the offer of coffee each morning, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We could leave our luggage at the guesthouse whilst hiking for no extra charge. There are bikes you can hire for a half or full day. Great location, close to everything. The garden is incredible. Thanks Fred!!

The garden is absolutely lovely with a grapes patio shadowing the property, which is a traditional family house with a hoe garden framing it. Fred, our host, was incredibly helpful and helped us throughout our stay and beyond! Highly highly recommended

A hidden gem in the centre of Skhoder with a lovely shady garden. Even better than the photos! Communal are with 2 sofas, a fridge freezer and table to have breakfast. Fred is fantastic providing us with coffee in the morning and helping us sort our day out, hiring his bicycles and letting us leave our heavy luggage at his guesthouse while we went up into the mountains. A perfect host! Would definitely return.

Fred is very attentive and was fluent in both German and Italian which were the languages of our Group. The house is in a nice garden very close to the city center. There was AC and bathroom’s are shared but if you don’t mind that you will not find better value for money!

No such thing, everything was good! There are only a few rooms (maybe 2), so getting along with other guests is also easy.

Fred's home feels like home. Very warm welcome and support all through the stay, good advice and he is truly a great host. The place is just nice, simple but clean, we were grateful he shared his home with us. Also very friendly with our child who is not the quiet type :) The garden is a great asset if you travel with children, safe and a good place to play around. The location is central, 5 mins walk to the pedestrian area with lots of restaurants, etc.
