Excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful relaxing rooms. I enjoyed a beautiful breakfast every morning in the bistro and evening meals in the bar area were great too. The spa was delightful and easy to access from the room. My room was quiet with a very comfortable bed and so spacious! Even with a couple of weddings in the hotel during my stay it was quiet at night. I will definitely stay again.

Excellent hotel! Not near the city centre, you’ll have to walk for about 15 minutes, but we knew that when we booked our room. There’s a garage for maybe 20 cars, but also an outside parking lot. The gardens around the property are beautiful and the building itself is also imposing in a majestic way. Our room was wonderful (307): very big, comfortable and clean. There’s also a mini balcony if you want fresh air. We had 2 bathrooms, one with a bathtub (which unfortunately had the valve system broken) and one with a huge shower (so, not really an issue, the bathtub, and the staff tried to fix it). The provided toiletries were also of good quality. Since the hotel was a little far from the centre and we were tired from our daytime trips, we decided to have dinner at the hotel twice and we were glad we did, as the restaurant was wonderful. The food was also delicious and the staff very, very friendly but professional. The breakfast buffet was also generous. Very happy with our choice!

This is a scenic hotel in a park near Aachen city centre. Comfortable beds. Short walk through the park to Carolus Thermen. Parking is available. Very delicious breakfast. Nice and clean spa area. Excellent bar with cocktails.

Great breakfast buffet! Peter and his team in the Elephant Bar are exceptional in running a great bar with good atmosphere and service. Love the renovations and decor! We will return!

Beautiful hotel, nicely old-fashioned but with the modern comfort. The room was spacious and comfortable, warm and essential, a fantastic bed. Bathroom smaller and a little "old" but clean and proper. The structure offers vast spaces to relax and take your time with privacy. The pool and sauna/steam bath are excellent, perfectly organised and functional. We were lucky that in mid-week very little people or none were using the facilities, so it was all for us. The breakfast is top of the line, all fresh and ready made. The hotel is nested in a nice park with great old trees, the Carolus Thermae are comfortably at a short walk distance.
