When we arrived (which was late due to traffic) we were greeted by the enthusiasm of the host, he helped us with parking and was very excited to show us the place. We felt very welcome. There are private bathrooms which you can book to bath with your friends/family, one of the best thing about this little gem in Atami:) I was surprised by the cleanliness and the comfort level here. it’s a newly refurbished building, it has three floors with a spacious living room/common room on the second floor which is shared by all the customers here. The room comes with a standard toilet and a shower and quite spacious overall. The tatami bed is comfy. Other reviews complained about the location, but because we drive we think it is an amazing spot! It’s 3 min drive from the famous shrine, and 5 minute to the ginza where there is lots of restaurants and shops. You can also see the fireworks display in the living room if you come on the right times:) We didn’t get the youthful and energetic host’s name, but thank you so much we had a great time staying!!

מקום האירוח オーシャンビューゲストハウスEat&Stay ROMEY ממוקם בשיזוקה, במרחק של 12 ק''מ מRengejiike Park Fuji Festival, וכולל גינה, חניה פרטית בחינם, טרסה ובר. Wow! Amazingly friendly hosts, beautiful location, yoga mats, a hammock, a bicycle to use, clean rooms, and all round wonderful experience. Oceanside views The hosts took me to a wonderful dinner (probably the best one I've had so far in Japan) and taught me how to write haikus. They explained lots of nuisances and generally gave off the best vibes a traveller could ask for. I'm very grateful for their hospitality and kindness, if I ever return to Japan I will 100% be staying here again.

מקום האירוח Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家, בדירוג של 2 כוכבים, שוכן מול הים בהיגאשיצו וכולל גינה, טרקלין משותף וטרסה. Easy to find and in a very nice location. Hosts are very kind and helpful!! They went above and beyond to help out, even giving us a ride to the station when it was raining.

Beautiful dormitory, wide living area, an Onsen 2 minutes from the hostel and great breakfast. Host super kind, we were late for check in but he arranged a solution so everything went smoothly The location is brilliant. Super family friendly

מקום האירוח Guesthouse SORA נמצא במינאמייזו, במרחק של 500 מ' מחוף יומיגהאמה, ומציע גינה, חניה פרטית בחינם וטרקלין משותף. Everything was so neat and tidy. The owner was so kind and everyone staying was so friendly.

Kisami Ohama beach is just a 3-minute walk from, Oli Oli Guesthouse in Shimoda featuring a terrace and bar. The property is located 7 km from Shirahama Ohama Beach. Location is prime. Such a close walk to the beach and other coves for snorkeling. Outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Food at the cafe was so convenient and delicious after spending the day at the beach. Private bathroom in the room.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, JOYinn is located in Izu Kogen. There is a free shuttle pick-up and drop-off service available for guests from Izu-Kogen Station. Excellent place with amazing service! Apart from 1)the glorious ocean view(the host upgraded our room into one with ocean view) 2)free pick up from nearby places, which many comments have already mentioned, what I really appreciated is that the host was really trying to make our stay more pleasant. There was no toothbrush cup when we first got there, and my friend left her toothbrush on the table when we went out. When we went back she found her toothbrush put in a lovely small toothbrush cup. That was so sweet! The place itself was very nice as well, the weather was pretty good during our stay and we saw many stars at night, perfect place for getting away from the cities and enjoying nature.

Guest House Tokiwa offers dorm beds and affordable Japanese-style private rooms, free WiFi, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen. Located in Fujinomiya City, the closest town to Mt. The owner was very kind and helpful. He took us to Yamato Transport Office and help us to communicate with the staff. Thank you very much. Moreover the CEO (Daruma the dog) was very friendly. He welcomed us with warm greetings. Definately come back.

J-Garden features a tennis court, a garden and a private-use hot spring bath, a 11-minute walk from Tomito port. Great hospitality. Super cosy. Unique place.
