We tend to visit Tenby out of season as in mid-summer, with the schools off it would be very busy. Nice little town overlooking two great beaches. South beach is huge when the tide is out. Plenty of pubs/cafés etc. though in high season I suggest booking ahead for tables if you can. Spring 2024 taxi trips within the town area are £5.00.

Tenby is a lovely place with a few nice pubs and reastaurants/cafes - normal shops for that type of area - not actual banks but a couple of cash machines are about - Gets too busy in the summer but just before and just after are imo the best times to go - the beaches are lush and well kept - Don't drop litter etc as there are enforcement officers wondering about - even if by accident you will get a £150 fine :(

Lovely town on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Lovely town on the Pembrokeshire coast. So much to explore with some of the best beaches in the UK. Lots of cafes & restaurants, gift shops & independent suppliers, as well as some higher end chain stores. This wasn't my first visit & will not be my last.

Tenby is very clean and beautiful. There is a large selections of cafe/restaurants to eat at (we found it easy to book a table on line)customer service so so friendly and accommodating and the food itself reasonable and delicious. The
Lots of fabulous independent shops to wander around as well as your little Tesco and Sainsburys etc. The Coach and Horses did probably the best Surf and Turf ive ever tasted and The Qube an excellent steak too,
Beaches - 3 main beaches; North, South and Castle Beach all beautiful and unique - a pleasure to visit -great to visit when the boats are running to Caldey Island etc,
Tenby is very accessible and easy to find your bearings and its just lovely walking along different alleyways and getting the beautiful view of the sea at the end,
Tenby an excellent base, we visited Saundersfoot on this occasion and on other stays have visited Narbeth, Oakwood Park and Folly Farm.
We have visited various events on NYE and have found a lot of the time quite nervewracking by amounts of people and not well organised - Tudor Square fireworks quite the opposite , well organised , family friendly and so much fun - 100% recommend,
The hotel was in a fantastic location. Very central to shops/bars/restaurants. We had plenty of space in the room and the bed was comfy. Room was clean and tidy.
Jack, on reception, was a very friendly helpful guy and nothing was too much trouble for him. Always makes the stay more pleasurable if the staff are friendly.
Myself and my partner will definitely book this hotel again next time we decide to visit Tenby.
We were very impressed with all aspects of the hotel. The staff were very welcoming and very hard-working. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the evening meals of very good restaurant standard. The leisure spa was very good, opening early so that we could swim before breakfast. It was an easy walk into Tenby (uphill a little both down and up, but manageable) so no need to take the car.
A great short stay in Tenby at the Park Hotel. Amazing views across the bay from the top of the cliff. Great to have onsite parking, and its an easy walk into the town centre along the sea front. There is also a cliff path which is very steep so not for people with mobility issues.
Room was small but comfortable and we had a sea view. The garden bar was a nice area to have a drink.
We had a lovely stay. The location between Tenby and Saundersfoot was great as you could walk to either town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and gave excellent advice about what we could do in the area. The room and ensuite were modern and clean. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options available. We would highly recommend Pen Mar.
The room(St Catherine's view) was beautiful..so glad we decided to upgrade. This really did make our two night stay extra special. Such a convenient location for exploring Tenby. On our second morning, we were seated in the bay window for breakfast and this was such a lovely end to our stay. I would recommend the full breakfast.
The location is great. It's a 10 minute walk into Tenby town. The Guest House is beautiful. Good breakfasts. Our room was spacious with a sofa too. Lots of cabinet and wardrobe space. I would recommend this guest house. There's a comfortable lounge. The breakfast room is bright in the conservatory end and the staff are lovely.
A wonderful Hotel right on the front in Tenby. The room we have could not be any better as we look straight onto the beach and surrounding Vista's. The room is very good with all the amenities. We were welcomed by the hotel staff who are helpful and friendly. The food is excellent and needs trying to believe what I say
The accommodation was spacious and comfortable and in a quiet area. Andrea was extremely helpful and she lives there too. So impressed we booked to come back! Lots of space to park and a 20 minute walk to Tenby. It more than exceeded my expectations Andrea offered to store our cases. Lovely host.
Great location, Tenby Town just seconds away from hotel.
Our room was very clean and spacious, the shower was one of the best we have had staying in hotels.
Had a choice of breakfast which you ordered with table staff plus there was help yourself table with cereal / juice / fruit etc.
Quite simply, everything. Location of the hotel was perfect. Hosts were very welcoming. The bar downstairs had a great feel about it. The room itself was modern and spacious. We enjoyed our two night stay very much and would 100% book here next time we visit Tenby.
The Hotel is in a superb location overlooking North Beach and Tenby Harbour, breakfast and evening meals that were delivered to our room due to the Covid restrictions and were excellent, staff were very pleasant and helpful , definitely worth another stay.
Comfortable hotel in a convenient location just outside Tenby. It has good car parking space, which is difficult to find in Tenby itself. Our room was large and comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom. The owners and staff were pleasant and helpful.
We found a parking space and so unloaded the luggage near the hotel. Parking was cheap at the station but we are out of season. Not sure how it goes in full season.
The staff were helpful. Wifi good and really liked the up lights behind the bed.
Fab location. Only a short 15/20min walk into Tenby town. Plenty of parking.
Room was lovely with everything we needed. Decor throughout was lovely and everything was clean. Breakfast was amazing and service was fantastic.
Beautiful cottage near Tenby with parking. 2 bedrooms, one with double bef and one with bunk beds. Would suit a family of 4 perfectly. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, has everything you need.
The space in the apartment was great and the fact you were classed as a guest at the neighbouring hotel was awesome. Great location and probably my favourite hotel I've stayed at in Tenby so far.
Easy access to the delightful town of Tenby with parking ( a real bonus) lovely bedroom and the most fabulous hosts imaginable . Great cooked breakfast each morning too, will definitely return.
Friendly welcome, a beautiful/interesting room which wasn't too hot despite the 27C temperatures, and a decent location for exploring the area (Tenby, Barafundle Bay etc) by car.
