The location was good. A 1 minute drive into Cromer or could walk down a very picturesque country lane... The setting of the property is very pretty and surrounded by countryside. The breakfasts are amazing with so much choice. Buffet table then an offer of cooked breakfasts with top quality food. Room clean & comfy bed with good bedding. Towels good and bathroom a good size. All in all a good stay. Gardens lovely front and back and parking off road. Host very helpful in suggesting where to visit if area not known...

Plenty of different shops to visit but some of them shut on a Wednesday which is frustrating when you are only there on a short break. Good tourist information with plenty of leaflets for trips out nearby. We were too early in the season for some.

An interesting town of late Victorian / Edwardian style.
An interesting town of late Victorian / Edwardian style. Nowadays a dated holiday gem best appreciated by older people. Full of nostalgia for over 60s as it brings back memories of childhood holidays. Lovely pier, beach and Cliff path walks.
Excellent sea food . Easy railway access to Norwich city and good road access to fascinating historical places all round the county.

Cromer itself a lovely holiday place and keeps its individual style. Our holiday accommodation was clean and comfortable. Very disappointed with the view just bricks and other apartments
Avery steep hill to the car park.
Reception frosty more interested in you paying and getting you out of the way.
The restaurant had good food but felt a step up from a school canteen. No bar area as such all set up for eating. If you wanted to sit outside there could have been some plants in pots etc but you felt you were sitting on the pavement. The waitin staff in the restaurant were very nice but rushed of there feet.
Disappointed and feel with an extra effort and thought it could be better.

Best Crab ever at ROCKY BOTTOM.
Best Crab ever at ROCKY BOTTOM. Favourite place was Mundesley. Easy to get around Cromer if you don,t have a walking disability. Beach approach was too long/steep,but local people were extra helpfull with their advice.Nothing to avoid next visit,i just need to get more mobile, still hoping at 85!!
Jane and Neil run an exceptional establishment. So accommodating, friendly and helpful. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, breakfast superb. Great value and convenient location. Was there for three nights and really enjoyed my stay. I love North Norfolk as there is so much to do. First actual stay in Cromer and enjoyed it very much. I am likely to stay at The Knoll again, possibly as soon as next year, with my friends. Have already recommended it to several friends and family. Thank you, Jane and Neil.
Great location only 1 mile from Cromer City Centre surrounded by woodland and large garden with a variety of plants and flowers. Chickens and a pheasant in the garden with a variety of birds coming and going from the feeders. Comfortable bed and room with big windows to enjoy the natural light and nature. Full English Breakfast provided, served in the conservatory, and caters well to special dietary needs as I required GF. Pet friendly. Free parking on the property.
First off this is a pub with rooms, so not a 5 star hotel, so important to have corresponding expectations. Location is great, in the heart of Cromer. Check in was swift and staff were friendly. Despite being above the pub you could not hear pub noise from our room and not a huge amount of crowd noise from the street. Room decor was nice and clean, bed was comfy, and tea/coffee/water provided was appreciated. Good storage space for clothes.
Beautiful apartment. Well equipped and lots of lovely stylish touches. Super comfy beds, blankets and cushions. Great open-planned homely space with a lovely kitchen and bathroom with big shower and luxury bath. Nice views and super close to the beach for walks and views. Close to the town centre too and quiet. An ideal location. Friendly owners and parking off road. Really recommend this gorgeous apartment for a stay in Cromer.
We picked the place for a long weekend by the seaside to mark our 40th. Property combines Edwardian solidity and style with modern comforts. Shaun and Martin got a perfect balance: laid back but always attentive and helpful, despite COVID-19 restrictions limiting their time on site. On arrival, we were given a really handy map and guide to booking Hotel is within an easy walk of sea and centre of Cromer.
We used this bungalow as a base for my partner’s charity walk along the Norfolk coast path. It was ideal for our needs and only a short walk to the town centre of Cromer.
The bungalow was clean and comfortable with good WiFi and smart tv. Good kitchen and large living room/diner. Beds were comfortable.
We fully recommend Hidden Hideout and would happily return.
The bedroom we stayed in was comfortable and modern, Cromer beach was opposite the hotel and we could walk to the Cromer town in 7 minutes, where you could find food shops, bank, other shops and arcade. There was parking at the guest house. The lady at the reception was very helpful about suggestion.
Great location, within walking distance of the beach at West Runton which is the closest.
Accessible by train and useful to take the train to either Sheringham or Cromer.
Nice to have the swimming pool and golfing facilities and the option to eat in the "Hole in One" casual clubhouse.
Great attention to detail. Comfy beds, good shower, well equipped, with everything you could possibly need. A pleasant 20 minute walk into town, and, equally well placed for a nice walk along the cliff tops to Overstrand. Dog friendly. Excellent value.
We loved our room with the super king size bed. The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. We e joyed the timed swimming pool so we had it to ourselves. The restaurant food for dinner was exceptional. Good area to enjoy the North Norfolk Coast.
Great location, right in the center of town so easy access to the shops and restaurants. Nice size apartment and very nicely decorated. If any issues the management company are downstairs, which is always easy to drop off the keys.
Great location - easy walk to everything in Cromer. Plenty of room for us as a family. Lots or extra bits left by the hosts to make the stay better. Cromer is very nice - and good base to get around various areas in Norfolk.
Everything, it was well stocked with everything you need, decorated for Christmas which is very thoughtful, location wonderful, facilities exceptional, just a wonderful place to stay.
Clean, comfortable, homely, central for everything we needed for our New Year in Cromer. Great to meet the owner too. Would love to come back next year. Thank you so much.
Location was fantastic 5min drive to both cromer and sherringham. Great parking and facilities. Hotel clean and pool although cold was clean. Staff very friendly.
