Little River Glamping, hotel in Ballymoney

Located in Ballymoney and only 21 km from Giants Causeway, Little River Glamping provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

All the facilites of a self catered accommodation, and more. Really easy access to amenities from the 'shop'. We got coal for a barbecue from the shop and used a lot of the equipment provided. We also bought wood from the shop and had more than enough for a couple of hours sitting by the fire. We could hear the river rushing by, the lambs and the geese in the firelds nearby. The bathrooms were great and one had a heater in it. We also used the heated blanket and the heater in the tent which was great

Vivienne, hotel in Ballymoney

Offering a garden and river view, Vivienne is situated in Ballymoney, 43 km from Glenariff Forest and 6.2 km from Mountsandel Fort.

The location was lovely, slightly apart from other boats which gave us a sense of privacy. There was more space within than expected along with storage spaces if intending to stay longer. Being able to bring our dog (golden retriever) was a major plus as she could also be comfortable onboard as well as the wooded path around the caravan park and multiple green areas were easily accessible for doggy relief. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use; if staying a longer time I recommend bringing large bottles of drinking water. Since it was our first time staying on a boat, it was comforting to know James was available to answer any queries. The beds were firm yet comfortable and kids loved their rooms/beds which were large capsule hotel style.

The location of our accommodation was excellent for exploring the many beautiful sites Northern Ireland has to offer. Our accommodation suited us perfectly. The pitch in the bedrooms may be an issue for some but it did not affect us at all. The hosts were fabulous. Their mantra is that holidays are paid for with hard earned cash and all they want to do is facilitate enjoyment. Their tips and information were very helpful. Ballymoney is a lovely town. The star of Northern Ireland is the sites on the coast but also the people are lovely, apart from the tailgating drivers. We were fortunate with the weather which was glorious

Wonderful appartment in charming old house, beautiful garden. Quiet and very well located to discover the coast of Northern Ireland: the Giant's Causeway, the rope bridge, ruins of castles on the cliffs, the Dark Hedges, nice coastal towns all closeby. Good restaurants, supermarkets and a whiskey distillery at just a few minutes in Bushmills. Very nice host.

We chose Ballymoney as the town figures in our family history. Unfortunately, as there is so much to see in the local area, we were unable to spend much time there. It appears to have a reasonably large shopping area with not too many unoccupied properties.

We were visiting family who live in Ballymoney so we know the area very well. The surrounding coast and countryside are beautiful if you get the right weather. There are plenty of attractions around to see also.

A great holiday apartment! Home made scones and jam awaiting you on arrival are a nice touch and help settle you in to what is a great wee holiday home. It is very well equipped with everything you might need including a high chair and travel cot. The location is ideal, close to Ballymoney and the must see attractions on the North Coast. The lovely gardens offer a good chance to unwind after a busy day sightseeing. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great stay!

Ballymoney was a beautiful area to stay in a good location to visit many attractions. The accommodation was of a high quality, we received a lovely welcome from the owners and they were attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and really nicely presented. The optional evening meals we’re also very good. The hosts were helpful giving us ideas of places to go etc and made an extra effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at The Nook was a very welcome break from the monotony of hotel rooms. Everything you could possibly need is available at the property. The washing machine and tumble drier being particularly useful. The host was very helpful with lots of suggestions about what to see in the locality. Highly recommend this property.

Peaceful location. Welcoming fire. Friendly helpful hosts. Ballymoney is a great little town. We hired a car from practical car and van hire. They picked us up from the station and will do airport pickups. The 30 min walk back to O'Harabrook after a scrumny dinner at the Holestone was lovely.
